JEFF ABARAY
Lead Vocals

As a product of the Steel City, Jeff's appreciation of all things metallic was transplanted with him in St. Louis. Fertile Midwestern soils allowed the metal roots to grow strong.
"Metal is such a great genre of music," says Jeff.  "More than anything, I'm a huge fan.  Judas Priest have always been one of my favorites.  You can't deny, these guys put out some great stuff and they're still doing it.  As we work on our set, I'm finding how fun and challenging these songs are. We hope to roll it out soon!  Join us as the Priest is Unleashed!!!"

SCOTT ABNEY
Lead Guitar

Scott was born in 1964, a good year for the Beatles. In 1971 when he was 7, his family moved to Jacksonville, FL where Scott discovered Southern hospitality as well as everything else that would eventually hurl him into metal oblivion.  In 1979 he moved back to St. Louis, MO, home of the Redbirds, Gateway to the West.
By this time Scott had absorbed an abundance of musical influences.  "I was getting pretty good on my two tennis rackets," says Scott.
"Finally one day I remembered my sister had an acoustic guitar that she never played and so I was happy to steal it from her."
Scott was turned on to Judas Priest when he was 13 or 14 and they are still one of his favorite bands of all time.  "I am honored to pay tribute to the Metal Gods.  Hell Yeah!!!"

SCOTT PAYNE
Lead Guitar

Also known as Fusion Man, Scott is a seasoned musician with more than 30 years of guitar experience.  Always inspired by guitar players who play a lot of notes i.e., Johnny Winter, Al Di Meola, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, Scott will definitely have his share of notes to play in Priest Unleashed.
"I'm quite impressed with the songwriting of Judas Priest," says Scott.  "It's not as easy as it might seem, but extremely fun to play."  As the Glenn Tipton half of Priest's twin lead guitar attack, Scott will definitely be delivering the goods.

STU MASSEY
Bass

Stu was born and raised in the suburbs of St Louis, MO.  He began playing bass at age 14 and at age 18, he cut his "metal" teeth in the band Axminister, performing on and off from 1980-1983.
During this time, he also co-wrote and performed original music with local teen band Iron Suite.  For the balance of the 1980's, music was set aside while Stu focused on work, marriage and family.
By 1991, Stu started to seek out new musical gigs and has since played in over a dozen bands in and around St Louis including blues bands such as Buffalo Bob, country bands such as Bowmans Junction, and rock bands such as Blue Marlin.
" Ian Hill is probably the least known and most underrated member of Judas Priest," says Stu.  "The hardest thing for me is using a pick to get his later attack and percussive style.  I was glad to find out from magazine interviews and video that he was a finger player early on and that allows me to play the Sad Wings stuff finger-style.  As did Ian in the 70s and 80s, I play a Fender Jazz Bass.  It wouldn't sound like Priest without it!"

JIMMY TOTH
Drums

St. Louis native Jimmy has over 25 years of experience playing with original, cover and tribute bands.  Before joining Priest Unleashed, Jimmy played with the Black Sabbath tribute band Supertzar.
In additional to opening for national acts such as Nazareth, Jimmie Van Zant and Overkill, Jimmy opened for Judas Priest on the St. Louis stop of their 2002 Demolition tour.
"I got to meet Glenn Tipton, Tim 'Ripper' Owens and Scott Travis," says Jimmy.  "They were really down to Earth people.  It was one of the highlights of my career."
Jimmy is looking forward to performing with Priest Unleashed.  "When we hit the stage with those Priest classics, some heads are definitely gonna roll."
